is a network of community, voluntary, public and private sector organisations in health and social care that have joined together with a common goal ensuring people with additional support needs have
- easy access to information,
- support to plan and make choices,
- a diverse range of services and facilities to choose from.
An outcome of the network has been putting together this database of services and support in Lincolnshire. IBNL undertook a project exploring approaches to support brokerage and a report of this can be found here
User-led Organisations:
IBNL has more recently been supporting the development of user-led organisations in Lincolnshire, working in partnership with Lincolnshire Association of People with Disabilities, Speaking Up and supported by the local authority. This specifically looks at how people's lived experiences and knowledge can enable peer support networks, identify unmet need and lead to the setting up of services to meet these needs.
More information on this will shortly be available on a linked site. However an overview of user-led organisations can be found by clicking here
