About Headway

Headway Lincolnshire is the local branch of the UK national Charity, Headway - the brain injury association. It aims to provide information and understanding for people with brain injury and their families and carers, increase public awareness and knowledge of head injury, campaign for better health and social care for the head injured and their carers and participate in activities that will reduce the incidence of head injury and campaign for better health and social care for the head injured and carers.

What we do

Monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month (except January) at 7.15pm at: The Priory Centre, St Catherines, Colegrave Street South Park Lincoln LN5 8DW or go Tenpin bowling on the second Wednesday each month at the Lincoln Bowl, Washingborough Road at 1.45pm Attendees decide on other social outings at their monthly meeting. Headway Lincolnshire runs a social group for people with a brain injury, their family and carers on the first Wednesday in the month from 10am - 12noon at Scott House in Boston. For further information please contact Barbara Hallam on 07546592526. Headway Lincolnshire (in association with Adult Social Care) runs a drop-in service in Lincoln for people with a brain injury their family and carers. This takes place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10am - 1pm at The Healthy Hub, Beaumont Fee, Lincoln, LN1 1UW.
