About Penderels Trust

Penderels Trust provides support to people using direct payments across the county. It is a registered charity and a limited company. As we have developed, the range of services we can offer has increased and we are able to offer our services according to the changing needs of our service-users. We are constantly striving to improve and develop our service delivery. Our head office is in Coventry but we have 3 offices in Lincolnshire in Mablethorpe, Sleaford and Lincoln.

What we do

Our aim is to assist service-users with all aspects of independent living. We receive referals from social services for people who are taking up or thinking about a direct payment. We can inform people about what is involved with a direct payment, provide costs of care, assist people to recruit and train their own staff and liaise with other services and professionals. Each support package is therefore designed to meet the individual needs of each service-user. Penderels Trust also advises and supports a variety of other professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills and information to advise people on developing their own independent living skills. We also offer financial and administrative advice related to the running of independent living schemes, including an administration service of local authority monies and a computerised PAYE service. We provide third party supported accounts for people who are unable to manage their finances. Service user support groups are arranged on a regular basis in Holbeach, Spalding, Boston, Lincoln Louth and Skegness.

8:30-4:30pm

What we cost

Our support is currently paid for by Lincolnshire County Council and free to all direct payment service users when they are referred by a social worker. Support servcies can be purchased privately for people who do not wish to go through social services.

Our Staff

All staff are fully trained and CRB checked.
