About Tamar House

Prime Life operate a growing portfolio of almost 60 care homes, offering individualised care packages to over 1300 clients in a variety of settings; these include Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Physical Disability, Dementia, Nursing and Residential care for Older Persons. What we do

Tamar House is a detached two storey Victorian property situated in a residential area on the northern outskirts of the historic city of Lincoln. Tamar House offers 13 all single rooms providing social care packages to clients with learning disabilities. Our ethos is to provide ongoing support and encouragement to enable and empower people to be as independent as possible, promoting their life skills. We deliver a comprehensive range of needs led, person centered services, from a highly trained and dedicated staff team. The home has the benefit of on site transport, allowing clients to take part in all local community based activities. Tamar House is one of a number of services owned by Prime Life Ltd. It is currently rated as 2 Star Good with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Working Hours

Tamar House provides dedicated staff support 24 hours a day.

What we cost

Fees start at Lincolnshire County Council banded rate. Other packages of care are provided, based on an individuals assessed needs.

Where we operate

Tamar House is on the northern outskirts of the historic city of Lincoln, in a quiet residential area with easy access and ample parking. The home has gardens to the front and rear of the property. Tamar House is just a 2 minute drive from the centre of Lincoln. Prime Life Ltd operates other establishments in Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Lancashire and Norfolk. Our Staff

Prime Life Ltd provides a comprehensive training programme for all members of staff. This programme starts on the day of induction and continues to NVQ level. An Early Days Learning and Mentoring programme aims to provide underpinning knowledge which enables the staff team to be more proactive and skilled members of the team. Training updates are offered, together with additional role specific training which will provide a person centered approach to the individuals we support.
