About Lincolnshire Home Improvement Agency

We have 3 offices; Head Office is situated in Gainsborough, and the other 2 offices are in Sleaford and in the Boston Borough Council offices.

What we do

We can help you with all aspects of property repairs, whether large or small. We can also assist with design options for adaptations to help people with disabilities. We have a list of approved reputable contractors who have been thoroughly vetted. We offer help with repairs and adaptations for home-owners/private tenants aged 60 or over, or of any age with a disability who live within the local authorities of Boston, City of Lincoln, North Kesteven, South Kesteven and West Lindsey.

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am - 4.30pm

What we cost

If you're disabled or over 60 and on a means tested benefit, for example, Income support, Council Tax Benefit,Pension Credit Guarantee, Incapacity Benefit or Housing Benefit, you could qualify for a free service up to the value of £250 (covering both parts and labour). If the work you require is for home safety, home security, small repairs or home maintenance, you may be entitled to a grant.
