About Lincoln Sitting Services

We are a family run, community based service, providing domiciliary support to people with a wide range of needs. Those benefiting from our service include unpaid carers, the elderly, those recovering from illness and people with physical and learning disabilities. Our aim is to enable our clients to maintain their independence within their home and to improve their quality of life by assisting with social activities.

What we do

* Assistance with shopping, either on behalf of or with the client * Collecting prescriptions * Collecting pensions and benefits * Assistance with paper work e.g. payment of bills * Help with filling in forms or writing letters * Laundry * Ironing * Light housework, such as dusting, vacuuming or bed making * Companionship during social activities and outings * Assistance with reading, hobbies and other past-times * Befriending and conversation * Giving unpaid carers short, day-time, respite breaks * We also offer a separate ironing service (free collection and delivery within a five mile radius), for the elderly, disabled and infirm Please note this list is not exhaustive.

Working Hours

24 hours a day, 7 days a week

What we cost

£10 per hour to sit in the home £12 per hour to sit in the home and provide basic domestic service £12 per hour + mileage charge to transport and accompany to activities etc

Where we operate

Lincoln and surrounding area. Other parts of Lincolnshire serviced by arrangement.

Troy & Jayne Schembri - a husband and wife team with many years experience between us supporting both Carers and the loved ones they care for.
