About Lincoln North's Childrens Centre Downs Syndrome Group

A new monthly play and support group for parents with babies and young children with Downs Syndrome aged 0-5. It's informal and fun, and based at Lincoln North Children's Centre. This group is being set up by Gill Jameson, a parent, with the support of the Downs Syndrome Association in Lincs.

What we do

There is currently nothing in the county supporting very young children with Downs in this age group - and there is so much valuable information and experience to share (such as the benefit of breast feeding for tongue control), and support to give. As you all know, parents can feel very isolated and knowing someone else having similar experiences can be very reassuring - particularly if a child with Downs is your first child.
