About North Hykeham disability Sailing

This an organisation set up and funded via charitable organisations to enable a new sailing group to form 2009 for the enjoyment of adults and young people with learning disabilties or physical disabilities to learn to sail. The founder Kevin Roberts has his own business interests in Sleaford but is passionate about this project.

What we do

We sail from 1pm to 4pm on Friday afternoons and welcome anyone with support or a carer to come along and try the sport in specially adapted sailign boats using a simply joystick mechanism. We supply all the safety equipment with instructors and launch at hand.

Working Hours

Sailing takes place every Friday 1-4pm

Where we operate

From Newark Road, North Hykeham, accessible just down the side of the Fox and Hounds Public House. The Clubhouse is situated 1.5km on north side of lake beyond the gates.

Our Staff

We have a Bosun on site and qualified helpers.
